Kids' City is a sprawling play area with three large separate play structures all in one place. You'll also find swing sets and a small shaded structure for toddlers. Kids' City is near both of the reservable open picnic shelters, and is easy to reach from parking lots A and B, between the entry to the park's main recreation area and the beach. In addition, the park also offers a unique climbing structure and play area for kids in the beach area.

Nature Observation
Most of Millennium park's 1,400 acres are in a natural state an you can easily explore them through the park's extensive network of trails. In addition to forests and open fields, you'll also find several large lakes and wetland areas that are great places for watching wildlife. The Hansen Nature Trail at the corner of Butterworth and Riverbend Drives is an easy loop for hiking and features scenic views of a small lake and nearby wetlands. Because of the size of Millennium Park and its great trails, it's easy to immerse yourself in the feeling of wilderness even though you always right on the edge of town!.
